Comments: Haven't talked much lately. I'm on vacation and have been out doin' "stuff", and I'm learning like mad. Last two weeks, I just read about four really technical books on evolution, logic, and science. Enought to make my brain fry. Did find that one book I am reading, "Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Brains" (Douglas Hafstadter) was the first bibliography entry on the Jargon File (v 4.2 when I checked www.jargon.org). It is truly amazing and should be REQUIRED reading for all programmers interested in AI, AI koans, and Zen (as well as Kurt Godel's Incompleteness Theorem, M.C. Escher's paintings and J.S. Bach's "self references" applied interestingly to AI. Amazing find at a used book store. They knocked off the price from $6.50 to $5 when I noticed their progressive literature and told them one of my friends was a green party national delegate for Oregon. Small world. Well, great site. I hope what I wrote becomes dated quickly, and may your life be interesting. (BTW, just send me something and I'll make it Java if I've got time. If I don't I'll tell you quickly. Ben said something about you doing the Active X in Java if you could. It is still coporate, but much less so than the MS BS that goes on over at Redmond. Ahh, I take what they give me. So-long. e-mail me when you get the chance.
